Here is something a little different. One of my grandchildren needed a shark painting for a fundraiser so I painted this yesterday. It is done on watercolor canvas and is 16x20. Since it is on canvas it can be spray sealed and framed without glass (much easier to mail that way). Hopefully she will like it.

Any ideas for a name?

Croatian Stroll Final & Dogwoods

It just would not be spring without dogwoods so here is a picture for you.

I just realized that I had failed to upload the final picture of "Croatian Stroll". Hopefully the sun will shine tomorrow so that I can get pictures for prints and I have ordered a frame.

I spotted my first ruby throated hummingbird Thursday afternoon (3/12). It looks like I might have a pair in my oak tree, so hopefully they will build a nest.

It also looks like I might have a pair of purple martins nesting this year.

Croatian Stroll - Another Step

Moving along very slowly. I will finish this painting one day. The colors look a little bit washed out here but are brighter IRL.

Spring is here!!!!!!!!

I thought I would share a couple of pictures today. Babe is three this month! The look of concern on her face is because I am taking her picture instead of giving her liver treats.



The petunias have bounced back quickly after the freezing weather and look so cheerful.


The azaleas are blooming and I could not resist setting up a quick still life this morning.
