Sunflowers

Many of you may remember that I mentioned I would be taking an online watercolor class.  This is my first project - Sunflowers!

This is not a cookie cutter class.  She evaluated my work, we discussed my plans/goals and we picked up at the skill level I was currently at and we are working from that point.  I am using my own reference photos and I am very pleased with my first project.  There will be 10 projects total.  Morning Glories are next!

butterfly Finished

Here is a picture of the finished butterfly.  It has been framed and dropped off at Haven Hospice today.  I hope you have enjoyed the WIP.

WIP IV - Butterfly

I am still working on the leaves.  There are things that I would do differently if I had more time and I just might redo this one later.  I am hoping to get started on the star of the show very soon.

It is also time to post a 2nd quarter giveaway and I will do that once I have finished this project.  I haven't forgotten!

I am still working on the first glazes on the leaves and put in the flowers.  Maybe I can get started on the butterfly tomorrow.
