I finished this little watercolor today and will be posting it in my new DPW gallery. Daylilies only last one day but they certainly show off when it is their day to shine. Enjoy!
Ahhh! Vicki another so YOU ! Beautiful... and I want you to know that your painting ( that I won) Desert Rose" hangs facing my bed . I see it every morning and it was especially a joy while recuping from the hip surgery . Thanks again ... hugs to you BJ
Thank you so much Barbra Joan. It brings me joy to know that my paintng is in a home where it brings peace and joy. You are a special lady and I am happy that I can call you my friend.
Vicki...This is just absolutely perfect! The more I look, the more details I see that make it all work so perfectly together. For instance, on the linen piece, the color over the dark blue background is so subtly shaded as it climbs up over the vase. This is truly a marvelous painting. You are too good of a friend for me to envy your skills, but I surely do appreciate them!
Thank you so much Rhonda. The hard part was growing the lily since my dogs delight in laying in the daylily bed. Susan you are truly a good friend that can make me smile and even laugh. Thank you for taking time to notice the little details. And when you paint your beautiful landscapes I look at them with longing knowing that I could never achieve them with my little 0/1 brush - lol. Thanks to both of you for cheering me on.

Another striking painting, beautiful!
Deb, thank you so much!
You've captured the delicacy and the texture of this beautiful lily against the cool linen. Beautifully done!
