I had hoped to have a watercolor painting to post today but I have spent the weekend cleaning my koi pond instead of painting. Instead I will post a botanical style painting that I finished last weekend. It is 5x7 inches and is framed in an 11x14 inch frame with a double matt. I still remember the joy as a child of discovering that a bunny hid in the center of the larkspur blooms. These plants reseeded themselves in my grandmother's garden each year and bloomed in shades of purple, pink and white.

Welcome to blogging, Vicki.

I never knew about those "bunnies" but I can see them in your painting. :-)

Thank you Ava, Susan, and Michelle for checking out my blog and taking the time to comment. This is really encouraging for a beginning blogger! Ava do you have any of your drawing posted so that we can see them?
Thanks again
