Daylily

After completing the "Lighthouse" I thought I would do something more in my comfort zone today. It is painted on a 6x6 inch piece of Twinrocker WC paper.

The rich glow of this is so appealing. I like that deckled edge, also...I have seen the one that Cheap Joe's sells and balked at the price, maybe I should reconsider! Very nicely rendered and painted.

Thanks Susan. I lucked out with a really good sale on the deckle ruler years ago and it is finally being useful.

Don't you love the cadillac feeling of Twinrocker? Their place is about four hours away, and we made a road trip once to take a tour of how the paper is made.
Beautiful lily.

Twinrocker paper is very special. It is a joy to paint on. It would be so neat to see how it is made. Thanks for the comment on the lily!
