I threw myself "in" lol And hooray for warmer temps coming!
What template are you using to get use of the whole screen?
Micah, you ask the tough questions - lol. I believe it is the "Minima Lefty Stretch". Hope that helps.
I remember this one being my favorite of yours when you painted it awhile back. Almost oriental, but with the appearance of Spanish Moss. Love your give-aways!
This painting is wonderful. THanks.
What a beautiful painting! Simple, but it says so much.
Beautiful painting! I love the textures. :)
Hi. I came over from Deb Ward's blog--just in time for the giveaway, too! This is a haunting image; I love the balance between the moon and the tree trunk, and the lacey Spanish-mossy tendrils!
Thanks everyone. I really appreciate your comments and I really enjoy the giveaways.
This is areally beautiful painting! I have never seen anything like how you painted the willow branches or Spanish Moss tendrils.
I'm amzed at your moon!!! It really ooks like a cold, foggy night.
What a great idea a giveaway is! Well, getting lucky enough to receive a giveaway or not - this is a really interesting painting. I love the texture!
This is lovely, and as I said before, how very generous of you Vicki. :) I'm so glad I found you! :) Lori P.S. Did you use any alcohol on this? Great technique!
Thanks Bonnie, Linda and Lori. I really appreciate you guys. Lori, I didn't use alcohol on this. The moon was masked and gauze was used for the moss effect.
This painting is just gorgeous and thanks for describing how you did it. I really like every bit of it!
I join the choir: love this painting!
Thanks Jan and Nava! I really enjoyed creating this one.
How generous you are to part with this beautiful painting. It has such atmosphere.
So loose, and incisive, I love the palette you used, thank-you Vicki for your generosity.
Thanks Joan and Loredana. Good luck to each of you.
