Croatian Stroll - Another Step

Moving along very slowly. I will finish this painting one day. The colors look a little bit washed out here but are brighter IRL.

I love the perspective and to me the colours are alive

Doesn't look washed out to me, either, Vicki. Sometimes slow is the way to go (haha! think I can sell that slogan?!?)

Thank you both! I appreciate the encouragement.

Vicki, I love the textural qualities of these walls. As Rhonda said, going slowly is working for this one. That was helped me when working on a large, detailed painting, keep it up!

Thanks Susan. I worked on it some more and will post pictures soon.

Vicki, this one is ambitious, but what a REWARD you will have when you are finished! I don't blame you for going very slow - I would have to, also. LOVE the perspective - very unique. It will be a keeper. RoseAnn

Vicki, one more comment - the colors are wonderful together. The rich dark green against the wall - beautiful. I would probably get carried away with the textures here - salt and splatter....what fun! RoseAnn

Thanks RoseAnn. Although it has been a slow process I have really enjoyed painting this one. What you can't really see in the picture is the texture that results from using granulating paints. In the next progress post I will post the names of the paints. But some nice effects were achieved.
