I thought I would share a couple of pictures today. Babe is three this month! The look of concern on her face is because I am taking her picture instead of giving her liver treats.
The petunias have bounced back quickly after the freezing weather and look so cheerful.
The azaleas are blooming and I could not resist setting up a quick still life this morning.

I received an email for Loredana in Spain that she had received her February giveaway painting safe and sound. Those that haven't entered the March giveaway, don't forget. The drawing is March 16th. I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Oh how lucky - petunias and azaleas both! The still life is beautiful, too.
Hey...is that blue sky reflecting in your teacup or bleuberry tea?! :) Happy Spring!
Thanks Barbara and Micah. Barbara here in north Florida I use petunias as winter flowers. The summer heat and humidity just do them in. They will bloom most of the winter and bounce back quickly after freezes.
Micah that is actually my dirty brush cleaning water from my studio - lol.
Thanks for the comments.
How lucky to live in Florida where such blooms grow this time of the year. Great photos. When we going to see the still life masterpiece???
Thanks Joan. I do enjoy the weather here. I probably will start working on the still life once I finish strolling around in Croatia - lol.
Dear Vicki, I just opened up my blog, for the first time in a couple of weeks. I had been in the hospital having heart surgery, and felt so out of touch. To my delight, I found your comment and the award you gave me!!! Vicky, I can't tell you what a delight that was! What a pick-me-up! Thank you so much! I followed the threads to your web pages, and discovered those amazing vintage automobile paintings! FABULOUS!!! Absolutely excellent, and I'll be back to check your pages often to see more. Thank you again, RoseAnn Hayes
RoseAnn thank you so much. I didn't know you were in the hospital. Hope you are on your way to a quick recovery. You will be in my prayers.
Babe is truly adorable. Now, that's a portrait to paint!
Thanks Nava. I am going to find the nerve one day to paint her. I have 100s of pictures of her.
