I had hoped to have a painting to share with everyone but the weekend passed and that did not happen. I did start a painting but really disliked the background so I pitched it and have restarted but I will share a photo with you. These are sweet banana peppers, fresh from the garden. They are wonderful to stuff as you would a bell pepper and freeze them for the evenings that you are really busy and need a quick meal. Of course I had to take pictures first.

This looks like a painting waiting to be done :) Great photo and great color combo.

I'm with Rhonda on this. Are you going to turn this photo into a painting? With such great composition and wonderful color scheme - how can you not?

Thanks Rhonda and Nava. I actually have another photo at a slightly different angle that I want to paint. This one I will put on my flickr site to share with others.

Its been great catching up on your posts I've missed whilst away. Never heard of a banana pepper!

Love them all
- the dark background of the cone flowers just makes the blooms come alive
- the botanical glass series - great idea
- the lighthouse on that special paper and as for the latest Greene member - delightful.
