This is a little 5x7 that I painted this weekend. It is called "Reflecting". The reference photo was supplied by my friends Koby and Cindy from their European cruise vacation. They said the water was very beautiful there.

Oh, I love the way you applied the colours for the water. In such a small format too. Trouble with me is I love the sweeping arm bit of painting so it would end up all over my board and work desk - and the reference alongside!! Reflections good too. Boats are such tricky shapes (memories of work on the river for the pub show and my recent trip to Wells next the Sea sketching) but this head on perspective works really well - clever girl.

Very beautiful water Vicki, the rope just ties me right into the boat, and it is well name becuase the reflections in the water are perfect. Kathy

This is very nice. I like the colors you used in the water. You did a great job on the reflections. You also did a great job on the boat. I would have been afraid to even try it!

Thank each of you so much. Isn't it funny how everyone is different. I get short of breath if I think I must paint something larger than a 1/4 sheet (1/4 sheet is huge.
