First 2009 Christmas Card

I am doing two Christmas cards this year.  One will be more playful and one more traditional.  You have ideas like this when you live in Florida and see more sand than snow.  I am about half way through the second painting and plan to work on it some more today.  I hope that everyone had a very blessed and enjoyable Thanksgiving.

Vicki, really perfectly composed with perfect "pieces" for a Floridian's delightful Christmas card...
It took me a while to figure out if this was your actual painting; it is so perfectly painted. Kudos to you! Amazingly beautiful.

Love it! I'd much rather see white sand than snow for Christmas :) The more I look at this, the better I like it - the composition, the shadows, the modeling of the items are all so well done.

Thank you so much Madelaine, Deb, Ruth, Rhonda & Candy. I really enjoyed the whole process with this one from setting it up to photograph to doing the actual painting. I appreciate your comments.

What a great idea for a christmas card, Vicki! They're both super and loved the festive dogs...even if they didn't look to sure :)

Christmas cards here in the desert usually include cactus...
