Pears in colored Pencil WIP VII

I am getting much closer to the finish!  Now that I have completed the colander I believe that I need to go back and add some more color to the pears.  What are your thoughts? Of course I still have the stems and some more work on the rims and shadows too.

What are my thoughts? Well, for starters "If I could do work like this I could die happy" lol!Vickie this is just an amazing piece. Thank you so very much for looking at my work. Feel free to criticize too. Since I've had no training its always a struggle to get anything close to what I want.

CP is a slow medium - and one you have mastered! A bit more color in the pears and stems and it's done!

Thanks so much Barbra, Candy & Deb.
Barbra I will be glad to offer suggestions when and if I see anything but I don't have formal training either so I certainly don't qualify to critique. Your work is very pleasing to my eye so just keep on doing what you are doing.
Thanks Candy for taking the time to look and comment. I really appreciate it.
Thanks Deb you are very kind but since this is only my 8th colored pencil piece I don't think the word "mastered" can be used. I do think that it works well with my detail oriented personality.

This is coming along beautifully!!! You have so much patience and dedication! I love the repetition of the "dots" in the foliage background with the holes in the colander and on the pears. And the complimentary color of the colander with those luscious greens - WOW!
Can't wait to see the finished product!!

Stilin Studio - I didn't even notice those dots in the background, my eyes were riveted to that wonderfully shiny colander and the fruit. So, I guess it fulfilled what a background should do, be in the background, but still interesting!

Vicki - I bow to your talent and patience once again. This is a beauty already, with your idea of adding more color to the fruit it will be an amazing painting.
