Pears in colored Pencil WIP VIII - FINISHED!

I think it is FINISHED! I will post it here and leave it unsealed for a couple of days just in case anyone notices anything that needs adjusting.  I really appreciate your patience in following along on this one.  I had no idea it would take so long to do.  Since last time I added a bit of color to the pears, completed the stems, add some reflected color in the shadows and adjusted the color in the bottom rim a bit.

You don't mean it - I shall miss my injection of pear WIP now its all over!!! Wonderful result - great touch adding the warm reflective colour into the main shadow. Worth every single patient stroke. A masterpiece.

Hello Vicki. I "googled" to find the person who left the very appreciated comment on my strawberries post. Your pears are beautiful, so carefully rendered. Colanders are a favorite subject of mine, I like the holes of light they produce. The only suggestion I can make is that shadows are darker at their source and then fade out. Your shadows could be just a bit darker where the colander and the pear touch the table.

I've enjoying seeing this one coming together along the way. I think a bit darker shadow close to the object is needed...just a bit. I do love it as is...the colors are gorgeous and you've got such a beautifully rounded colander and those pears make me want to bite one, they look so juicy and luscious. Beautiful work, Vicki and I admire your persistence and dedication and skill with colored pencil!

Thank you so much Genie and Rhonda. Genie I found your site through Chris Beck's Brush-Paper-Water site and was thrilled when I saw that beautiful camellia painting. You guys have great eyes and the shadow will be an easy fix. I appreiciate that.

Thank you so much Susan. I did adjust the shadow a bit as suggested by Genie and Rhonda and will frame it this week.

It has come out very nice. If you decide to do any more I would suggest a little darker cast shadow and possibly on pears themselves too. It would make a very nice piece a real winner.
Good job.

Thanks Loredana & Gary. I really have to push myself with the darks but I am working on that and appreciate the extra eyes.
