Signs of Spring!

While I spent most of the day in the studio framing some prints, I did take a few minutes this afternoon to enjoy the beautiful weather and take a few pictures.  I do believe that SPRING is finally making an appearance.  The birds were out in abundance and really enjoying the sunflower seeds I had put out for them.  The little narcissus is the first flower to bloom in my yard and they smell so wonderful.  The koi are looking good even if it has been a tough winter and of course, Babe Girl has to keep guard while Mon takes picutres.  You can click on any of the pictures to see them larger.  Hope you enjoy your weekend!

Wonderful photos! It has been quite warm here in Ottawa and spring is definitely in the air. The change in seasons always feels magical.

What a lovely post to herald the Spring. Glad to say has been sunny here of late and today, but with frosty cold early mornings.

We've had such a rough winter her in PA with LOTS of snow. Just seeing these lovely pictures reminded me how happy I am that Spring is just around the corner!

How lovely to see such promising signs of spring! I know it will come soon...I can feel it in my bones! (Actually, I DID watch a robin pull a worm out of the ground this morning...like a long, stretchy spaghetti noodle...it doesn't get much springyer than that!)

A good thing for the robin although I am sure that the worm would disagree - lol. My tulip magnolia has started blooming and the sun is shining so outside I go with the camera.

We are having the same mad rush of birds and squirrels and chipmunks here around the feeders - even a little chickadee who has decided to try to make a nest under our eaves in the "fake" birdhouse - I hope she does but each time I go to the kitchen window and she sees me, she flies off - got to get her used to me being there at the sink, etc.
