Lisa at Kanapaha

This is a painting from a photo I took of Lisa Lynne playing the Celtic harp at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens.  I know that I have been rather quite on my blog but this little project has taken me about 3 weeks to complete.  I will be entering the painting in an upcoming show and will let let everyone know the first part of December if it was accepted.  I still have two more paintings to finish before the mid November deadline so I will continue to be a bit quite with my posting but I will be working hard to meet my deadlines.
Don't forget to check back on October 1st for the next giveaway!

Good luck with the submission - if I had anything to say on this selection panel, it would be the first selected. Delightful composition and colour palette. Thanks also for the waterfall WIP slideshow.

Its very calming and makes me smile. The composition leads my eye right up to her face, framed inside the harp. Very creative and well done.

Beautiful composition. What striking me most is the wooden frame? It's very nicely captured.
