WIP V - Seashell

Well, this is were I am stopping until the coming weekend.  As I look at the picture, my thought is that I should see more happening for the number of hours that I spent with it but it is progressing and I think that once I finish the shell part the reflection will go a bit more quickly.  It is really very cold here in North Florida so I know that many of you must be frozen in.  Stay warm and have a great week!

That cast shadow is absolutely gorgeous, Vicki!! This is turning out very nicely.

We've been having fierce winds and never made it out of the 40's today. Going into the 20's tonight and this is CENTRAL Florida! Crazy to be sure—it's not even winter yet, but I don't envy all our Northern friends hit by that blizzard this weekend. Everyone stay safe!

I agree with Deb. This painting will be absolutely gorgeous. It is worth every minute that you have put into it.

Thank you so much Laure, Deb & Christiane. I do appreciate the encouragement.
Laure your are right, this is crazy and I am ready for summer.
Deb, Babe Girl is such a good dog and she really tries to make her people happy (especially DH). DH told her to sit down and let me put her sweater on and while she looked doubtful she just kept looking at him like "are you sure". She is very careful for her size. I can let her in the studio with paintings leaning everywhere and she tiptoes around them.
