Here is a picture of a lovely pigeon that has stayed the afternoon with us. There is plently of fresh water and bird seed so I hope that she/he is just resting and refreshing before going home. I took a picture of the yellow band on his leg but I have no idea of who I would contact with the info. Hopefully he will head home soon.

Oh yes, Vicki you are as bad if not worse than me.. every bird or animal I see out there , I'm worried is it alright ? is it hungry, thirsty, lost?
I'm sure it will find its way and if not ... then you've adopted a pigeon!!!!!
I know, I know but hey that is how I am wired. Allan said that was all I needed was another critter to take care of - lol. He rested up and headed on his way.
Vicki, I think birds and animals simply feel safe near you!
