I am a member of a Swap Group and paintings are exchanged quarterly. I received this painting from Susan in AZ and wanted to share it with everyone. She used acrylic ink for the shadow under painting and then painted the greens on top. It is a fun group to be a part of and I have received some lovely paintings.

Acrylic dyes? Seems like an interesting technique. This is very nice!
Thanks Christiane. I should have said acrylic ink. I edited the post to correct it. She has used this technique with several painting and with very good results.
