Jelly Jars

Grape Harvest
10x14 inches
Watercolor

This is the 5th project that I have completed for my online tutoring class with Susan Bourdet  - http://www.susanbourdet.com/
Once again, it was from a reference photo that I had taken several years prior and wasn't sure that I had the necessary skills to paint it.  Yes I grew the grapes and made the jelly also!  Your comments are always welcome.

Great job! You did an amazing job on the glass and the metal lids. How are you finding the online classes?

Vicki...this is just wonderful! From what I am hearing about judges wanting the paintings photos to ones you have taken because it then shows that you took the project from beginning to end. No one has anything on you since you started with growing the grapes and went from there. This is truly YOUR painting!

Wonderful sheen on the glass jars, wonderful everything!

Thanks so much Debbie, Jane, Christiane, Susan, Krista and Susan! Krista I had followed Susan Bourdet for years and have both of her books. Her online tutoring is on her website under workshops. Susan I do feel like this painting sort of wove its self into my life.

Thank you Claire! Sorry for not answering sooner but DH has been in the hospital this past week and I stay with him 24/7 without computer access. I just paint what I see - lol - no big secrets.
