I just wanted to share with everyone an update on "Garden Music".  Every year the Friends of the Library and the Art League of North Florida get together and have a summer art show.  The show is very popular with the local area and there is excellent participation from the community.  I received a phone call letting me know that my painting had sold at the reception.  I am very pleased but I am going to miss her.  The painting has a certain peacefulness that I enjoyed and hope that the buyer will enjoy it also.

Congrats, Vicki and it is a beautiful piece. Really lovely.
I know that feeling though when you let go of something that you yourself liked.
I recently sold a painting, and an art journal.. that was my favorite.. So, I'm making another but no two are ever alike..

This has such a peaceful feeling to it, probably because we find harp music so peaceful. I remember this and how amazed I was at the detail in the strings. It is such a treasure. Congratulations on the sale!

Vicki - congratulations - it is truly a peaceful painting - I can see why you hated to see her go. Have a wonderful day. God Bless

Thank you Debbie! I took quite a few photos that day, I might go back and paint another one someday.
