Seashells on the Seashore
8x8 inch Varnished Watercolor

When I finished the first shell it was still raining so I started on another one. Thankfully the sun is out now and the rain has stopped but there is much damage and clean up to be done in Florida.  I do hope that those needing rain get some but not like we did.  I see that there are many record breaking temps across the country - summer is certainly here. Thanks for looking and all of your comments are welcome!

Vicki, your shell is so very beautifully painted! Do you find varnishing brings out more depth and intensity of color?

Vicki - I have always enjoyed your work, but recently I am really impressed by your paintings in the last year. Great job!

Hi Vicki, I'm glad to hear that the rain has stopped in your area. Now if we could just get the fires stopped here. Love your sea shells!

Thanks so much Kathryn (the varnish doesn't make a big difference but a very nice sutle difference)
Barb I so appreciate your comment. It is so nice when someone sees progress in my skills. Thank you!
Judith thank you. I do hope you guys get some relief. You are in my prayers! Be safe my friend.

Vicki glad to hear your rain has finally stopped - hope you are safe after the floods and such. The shell is so lovely. Your art is so beautiful always. Take care and God Bless.

Thank you Debbie! Painting is such wonderful therapy. We came through with only minor problems but so many families lost everything and there is major road and sink hole damage. There are many to pray for here and those dealing with the fires.
