Summer breezes and sunshine!

While TS Debbie is dumping rain on us, I am dreaming of summer breezes and sunshine.  This is an 8x8 inch watercolor that will be varnished.

Vicki, you've done a great job on this shell painting! The varnish is going to add even more depth and dimension. Just great!

Thanks so much Deb, Christiane, Laura & jgr. I think at least parts of GA should be receiving rain from Debbie. I will gladly send some of mine to you - lol.

This is truely beautiful Vicki!!

What supports are you painting on when you varnish your watercolours? My fur-babes spilt coffee on my last sheet of arches and I am looking at getting more... paper? aquabord? I just love love the effects you are able to achieve!!

Thanks Judith, Barbra Joan, Debbie & Madelaine. I do hope that those that need rain get some. The lack of water is just as difficult as too much. Barbra Joan I am so thankful that you still enjoy my painting. Than makes me feel good. Madelaine I paint on 300lb watercolor paper (Usually Fabriano Artistico SoftPress) and then mount it to 1/8 gesso board using Golden Soft Gel (Gloss). I appreciate you guys stopping by and taking the time to comment!
