Daydreamer

Finally finished!  I am calling him "Daydreamer" (his real name is Toolie) and there is a sweet story about how Toolie and Linda met at the photo credit link.  This one has tested my skills but was so much fun to paint even if I did hold my breath several times during the process.  I have posted some photos below to show the sides of the "canvas". It will be for sale on my DPW site and here is a link - http://www.dailypaintworks.com/fineart/vicki-greene/daydreamer/123073

Wow, oh wow! This is so special in so many ways. I especially love the simplicity of this with the wrapped sides.

Lovely job on this - although it still looks like a cold frosty morning outside and kitty wants into the warm room with flowers blooming in the window! ha ha It's just the color behind her/him that makes it read that way to me and it doesn't really matter whether he's in or out, the painting works.

Thank you so much Rhonda. I see what you mean and you are right. A warmer background would have given the impression of being inside much better. We never stop learning do we? I appreciate your eyes and input because it helps me in my learning process.

Dear Vicki - Toolie is fabulous - you really caught the look in his eye and he seems like he will walk right out of the canvas. I had no doubt you would paint him so real and lovely. Thanks for sharing.

What a fantastic painting, Vicki! I love the elements of nature, with the flowers and wood grain. The details of the cat's fur and expression are so detailed. It was interesting to view the work in progress. Thanks for sharing!
