Yesterday Cindy and I took a trip to the Jacksonville Zoo
. Armed with our cameras, we spent the day shooting animals. The weather was beautiful and we returned tired but with our pictures. Here are a few shots for you to enjoy!
If you are ever in the North East Florida area the Jacksonville Zoo is a nice spot to visit.

Those big cats are so majestic! I am sure that you will create some beautiful paintings as a result of your visit.

Love the Jacksonville Zoo! But where are the flamingoes??? I could stand at their area all day, they are so beautiful and funny.
I remember your flamingo paintings! I am going to have to go back because we missed a few areas (the flamingoes being one of those). I too could spend hours watching them. I also want to get pictures of the carosel.

I can't get the hang of watercolor and colored pencil but I suppose the background is in watercolor and he is in pencil and coming along beautifully.. bj
