Passion Vine

The weather is perfect!  Sunny, soft breeze, cool and the butterflies are everywhere.  Their favorite today seems to the the Lady Margaret passion vine.  I could not resist taking a few shots and wanted to share   with you.  It would make a beautiful painting, wouldn't it?

Photos From Home

I do wish that I could include the wonderful rich lemony fragrance of this southern magnolia along with the photo.  The first five years after it was planted it refused to do anything but finally the last couple of years it is starting to grow and bloom and it is delightful.  On the other hand, the lotus has more than tripled its territory in one year and will probably cover the entire pond by next year but the blooms are so beautiful and I only planted just a couple of seeds (really, just a couple).

Dog's Life WIP V & Daylily Photo

Because you will not see major changes in Dog's Life WIP this time (this is the very slow part) I thought I would share a photo with you in addition to the WIP photo. I am slowly working on the hammock and hope to have it completed this weekend.

The day lilies have just started blooming. May is the main day lily blooming month here in North Florida. I don't know the named variety of this one but it was so cheerful that I just had to take a picture.
