I started by adding some color to the petals. Each petal was wet individually and color added using a mixture of UM Blue and just a touch of Avignon Orange (Maimeri Blu) to grey it a little bit. Vicki - The only thing I have to say is that this will be a beautiful project for you to demonstrate. Just be sure to save those important whites in this one. I am sure you will all enjoy yourselves doing this together and I know they will learn a lot. I think WIP photos are important for me, as an artist, because it forces me to stop along the way to take photos and forces me not to rush and allows further consideration of what to do next. Keep us posted here on your progress, it's interesting seeing how others work.
