This is a watercolor painted from a reference photo taken at Nobels Nursery a couple of months ago. Hope you enjoy it!

This is really lovely. I really like the composition. And so many different shades of green in the leaves. I agree with everyone else that the background really works, both against the leaves and against the flowers. Great idea to take reference shots at a nursery!!!

I planted coneflower in my garden this year - I hope they are as pretty as your painting.

Thanks Barb and Gabrielle. The leaves were the hardest part but once they were done the rest of the painting went pretty quickly. Hope your coneflowers bloom beautifully Gabrielle.
