Sunflowers

Many of you may remember that I mentioned I would be taking an online watercolor class.  This is my first project - Sunflowers!
The one on one online tutoring is taught by Susan Bourdet - http://www.susanbourdet.com/ For information about her tutoring class, go to her website and click on the "Workshop" link.
This is not a cookie cutter class.  She evaluated my work, we discussed my plans/goals and we picked up at the skill level I was currently at and we are working from that point.  I am using my own reference photos and I am very pleased with my first project.  There will be 10 projects total.  Morning Glories are next!

This is really lovely!! I can see how your style and her's would work well together - can't wait to see the 10 paintings you do.

Vicki...this one completely takes my breath away! While I would never tackle this project, especially in this tight style, I can certainly appreciate how perfect it is in every way. It also reflects your detailed style but is not stiff in the least, just warmly painted and rendered. Wow, this may be my fav painting of yours so far!

Absolutely stunning, Vicki!! And what a cool concept. Are the critiques done by email or do you get to talk live with her?

WOW! I concur with everything said above. Except, I'd be foolish enough to tackle the tight style
:-) ... It's just me. Beautiful, and cannot wait to see the next ones!

Thank you so much Christiane, Cathy, Rhonda, Susan, Laure & Judith. I appreciate your encouragement as I stretch and grow. Laure the critiques are done by email but she is excellent in being able to express her thoughts and ideas in writing.
