Many of you may remember that I mentioned I would be taking an online watercolor class. This is my first project - Sunflowers!

This is not a cookie cutter class. She evaluated my work, we discussed my plans/goals and we picked up at the skill level I was currently at and we are working from that point. I am using my own reference photos and I am very pleased with my first project. There will be 10 projects total. Morning Glories are next!

This is really lovely!! I can see how your style and her's would work well together - can't wait to see the 10 paintings you do.
Vicki...this one completely takes my breath away! While I would never tackle this project, especially in this tight style, I can certainly appreciate how perfect it is in every way. It also reflects your detailed style but is not stiff in the least, just warmly painted and rendered. Wow, this may be my fav painting of yours so far!

This is gorgeous. What a great job you did on this, Vicki. I love the entire painting, but I especially love the lace, teapot and shadows!
