March is Birthday Month!

Red is one year old this month.  He is not quite ready to give up his teddy, in fact I am not sure that he will ever be willing to give up his teddy.  He is full of energy and wants to play, play and play. Babe Girl is six years old and is very set in her ways.  She thinks her job is to guard her humans and works very hard to keep us in sight when we are outside. Red delights in aggravating Babe, but Babe is such a good girl and tolerates him amazingly well.  Both were rescued puppies that have enriched our lives. Photos were taken by Cindy Greene Miller.
 Happy Birthday guys!

I loved reading about your dogs [glad you rescued] and seeing their photos. Red has the most amazing eyes. And that photo of just their heads together would be a great painting.
Happy Birthday to you, Red!

Thank you Kathryn. I do enjoy these guys and will get around to painting them soon. Red is an Australian Sheppard mix so he gets his eyes from that breed (we are pretty sure the rest of him is Golden Retriver).

Your dogs are sweet. I see also you also like Susan Bourdet's work - love your painting with the passion flower and butterfly. Have a great day.

Thank you Debbie. My dogs bring me a lot of joy. Susan B is not only a terrific artist but a wonderful instructor as well. I am learning so much from her.
